President’s Charity Day
On Wednesday 22nd June, South Beds GC held our inaugural President’s Charity Day in aid of Cancer Research.
Our President, Mike Bird, and his 5 Vice Presidents organised as much fun as possible, making the golf a team game and asking people to use their imaginations and dress up. We had a great selection of costumes and one cheeky team make up masks of our President and wore ‘costumes’ depicting Mike’s use of colour for playing golf.
We rounded off the day with a meal and prize giving. The “Par for the Corpse” team of Brian and Liz Godfrey, Kitty Nulty and Pat Timmins won both the golf and best costume prizes.
The money raised is in excess of £500.
