Jubilee Cross Country - 5th June
Enter our Cross Country Golf competition on Tuesday 5th June. The par 46 course has 9 holes stretching across both the Warden and Galley Courses. The format is a Texas Scramble in teams of 3, with two teams playing together on each hole. The fun starts at 2:30pm with a shotgun start and finish with a BBQ. Entry is £10 per person including BBQ. Sign up on the Social Committee notice board. Captain's Weekend 16th/17th June This year Captain's weekend will have a new format. Come up to the Club on 22nd or 23rd May to complete your entry form or hand it in to the office by Friday 25th May.We always need helpers for Captain's weekend - If you'd like to help, please contact the office. Rules Evening 24th May, 7:00pmDo you know when you can use a mobile phone on the course? Can you get relief from a fallen tree? Come to our Rules evening on Thursday 24th May to find out the answers to these and many more. With the aid of some photographs and a quiz we'll unravel a few tricky questions as well as getting an update on the rule changes for 2012.

QUIZ and RAFFLE Blane's SuccessBlane Breheny missed first place by one shot to finish second at the South East of England Links Championship held on over the weekend of 12th May at Royal st Georges, home of the 2011 Open Championship. Blane shot an excellent 288 over 4 rounds (69, 73, 74, 72) but lost out to the winner by one stroke, despite beating him in 3 out of the 4 rounds of the competition.

Full members can also play 8 other courses in the area free of charge using our Reciprocal Scheme.
Warden Course Membership - NO JOINING FEE
£350 per annum aged 21 plus, Juniors aged 5-12 £50 per annum,
If you are a new or returning golfer, introducing your child or grandchild to golf, or just don't have time to play often, our Warden Course membership is ideal. Offering 9 challenging holes, this course comprises many of the original holes dating back over 100 years providing a shorter but still testing course for all levels of golfer.
Both membership categories include unlimited golf, CONGU handicap, free practice facilities, a well stocked pro shop,and Social Membership with discounted bar, and guest rates for member's visitors.
Why not come along and play a trial round - we'll refund green fees paid in April if you join before the end of May.
As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club, South Beds has an open admissions policy and applications are welcome for all categories of membership.
